For their 2025 Degree Show at Duncan of Jordanstone, Malachy McCrimmon created The Doomscrolls, a series of 95 wooden panels. Their title references the over-consumption of digital media, with each wooden panel literally impacted by technology through engraving. The compositions draw from internet culture, symbolism and iconography, forming a commentary on how human activity affects the natural world.
